Payments may be made by credit card (processed via Stripe), Paypal, wire transfer, bank check, certified check or money order. Local orders may be paid by cash. A 25% non-refundable deposit will hold a guitar or amp for 30 days. All layaway sales are final – no returns or refunds. If you place a hold on an instrument it is withdrawn from the market and no subsequent offer will break the hold once it has been reserved. We expect that a hold request is a commitment to purchase. Hold requests that are canceled before shipment are assessed a cancellation fee of $150.

All guitars or amps will ship within three days of finalizing the order processing. Credit card authorization and verification must be received before processing. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges. We generally ship instruments UPS ground, fully insured. Shipping costs vary depending on weight, size and insured value. We may recommend that you ship a high value or particularly fragile instrument 2 day or overnight. Please contact us at 831.335.3800 for options and shipping quotes. If the item is purchased through PayPal we will only ship to a confirmed address. We will not ship to a third-party address and cannot ship to PO boxes. All guitars are thoroughly inspected before they are shipped and carefully packed. If the instrument arrives broken, take photos and immediately call the carrier for damage inspection. Do not return an instrument that has been damaged before it has been inspected. All parts, accessories and pickups generally ship within two days.

I provide a 48 hour approval period during which any guitar may be inspected by a qualified third party to validate authenticity. You may return the instrument or other item if you are not satisfied for any reason for a full refund minus the original shipping cost and any credit card or PayPal charges. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and the original shipping cost will not be refunded. Items must be returned in the original shipping container using the original packing material with no signs of use. Buyer must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item to obtain a return authorization. The item must be returned within seven (7) days.

1953 Gibson ES-5

$9,500
We are pleased to offer this absolutely beautiful ES-5. This stunning guitar has virtually no play wear, but for a very minor scuff on the back and some fine lacquer checking. ES-5s with P90s from the early 50s are one of our favorite guitars - versatile and killer tone. The tailpiece is a repro, the repaired original is in the case. Its hard to find early ES-5s and 175s where this tailpiece has...

1955 Gibson Les Paul Special

$17,500
We are pleased to present this very early Les Paul Special acquired from the son of the original owner. With just a few nicks and dings, the guitar is in overall excellent condition. The pickguard and "speed" knobs on the earliest Specials are a little different than late 55/56. The tuner buttons disintegrated so we added new ones, otherwise it is 100% original. The frets are in great condition...

1955 Gibson Southern Jumbo (SJ)

$7,800
On offer is a lovely late 1955 SJ in remarkably good condition. These old SJs are wonderful instruments, basically an upscale J-45 with parallelogram neck and crown headstock inlays. 50s era Gibsons sound wonderful and this is no exception.  There are a few sratches, dings and some lacquer checking that would be expected on a 70 year old guitar. There is a small cleated crack at the top of the...

1967 Fender Telecaster

$8,250
Here we have a very nice, very light mid 60s Telecaster with a professionally done, body only blonde refinish. The refin was done a while back so there is some nice authentic wear around the top edge and a few nicks. Finish on the neck, fingerboard and headstock is original. The maple cap neck is a comfortable C shape, 7.25″ radius, .79″ at the first fret, .89″ at the twelfth. Frets are in good,...

1966 Fender Jazz Bass

$9,250
This beautifully preserved, one owner mid-66 (May neck date) jazz bass still retains the early dot markers with typical 66 features such as neck binding and paddle tuners. The finish is in excellent condition with only a few nicks, dings and scuffs that are difficult to photograph. No finish wear on the back of the neck. There is a “cymbal chip” in the headstock. With fresh frets and setup by the...

1949 Martin D-28

$20,000
We are pleased to offer this lovely late 40s D-28 in excellent condition. The guitar retains its beautifully aged original finish with no overspray present anywhere. Bridge pins appear original as well. New bridge saddle...

2015 Gibson Les Paul R8 True Historic

$6,500
The True Historics were Gibson's top of the line Les Pauls, hand built in 2015-2016, with a few in 2017. Rumor has it that Gibson stopped production because they were too labor intensive and expensive to build. Although many of the True Historic specs now appear in later reissues, some features such as the hand sanded double-carved, body and neck and wet-sanded finish do not. Gibson chemically...

1960 Gibson ES-330TD

$16,500
This is one of the best 330s we’ve seen in the last 25 years. This one owner guitar is collector quality with absolutely no checking and only a few minor blemishes. The sunburst finish is still rich with no fading and only the slightest hint of any belt buckle wear on the back. Images show a couple scratches on the back of the headstock, but anything else is difficult to photograph. The P-90s...

1965 Gibson Firebird VII

$24,000
We are pleased to offer this rare Firebird VII. Very few of the reverse VIIs were made between 63 and early 65. We believe this was one of the last built before the transition to the new models. The guitar has been played and there are a few bumps and bruises but NO breaks anywhere. The “fretless wonder” frets on the ebony board are still in great shape. The gold is in generally good shape but...
