Description

Gibson J-45s are referred to as the workingman’s guitar. These legendary no frills, slope shouldered jumbos were, and continue to be staples in country, bluegrass, rock and favorites with singer/songwriters. The J-45 on offer here is a beautiful mid-50s example. With the exception of a small, common repaired crack between the fretboard and pickguard the guitar is crack free. There is no finish checking and the beautiful sunburst finish is still vibrant and glossy with just a few nicks and scuffs you would expect on a vintage instrument. It plays perfectly with no need for a neck reset. Original fixed bridge. Complete with original brown Lifton case.

If you place a hold on an instrument it is withdrawn from the market and no subsequent offer will break the hold once it has been reserved. We expect that a hold request is a commitment to purchase. Hold requests that are canceled before shipment are assessed a cancellation fee of $150.

All guitars or amps will ship within three days of finalizing the order processing. Credit card authorization and verification must be received before processing. The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance charges. We generally ship instruments UPS ground, fully insured. Shipping costs vary depending on weight, size and insured value.
