An interesting and plain version of Vega's famous Whyte Laydie #2 banjo. Stamped "Fairbanks Banjo by The Vega Co". All original banjo except for the older set of planetary geared pegs. Good neck, a little playing wear in the first position, with the odd ding and scratch typical of a well-treated but well-played 110 year-old instrument. Hard Case. I love playing this banjo!

Schireson’s Hollywood ukuleles were built by Robert E. Pearson, an English luthier who was once a well-known banjo-uke builder and also had worked for Martin Guitar prior to moving out to California to build for the Schireson Bros. I am not A ukulele player, but this one seems quite good. There are a couple of small cracks in the back that have been addressed.

Description Here we have a lovely Prairie state jumbo circa 1930, hard to figure the exact date, it does have the number 611 stamped next to the prairie state stamp and patent numbers. This is the second time I’ve owned this guitar,, having taken it back in trade about five years ago. It has received the prerequisite neck reset. This is of the cleanest almost unplayed examples of one of these. But there are several issues that are not obvious to the eye that need to be revealed.
