1960 Silvertone Model 1429 Sunburst, Very Good

The vibe and attitude of an old Harmony or Silvertone just can't be replicated. You've gotta get the real thing. You've gotta go back to the source. With our shop being located in Chicago, the former department store/mail order capital of the USA, that source is our backyard. We've certainly seen our fair share of these over the years and never get tired of them. If a design works, it works, and these hollowbodies are just as classic as a Tele or Les Paul. This one has its fair share of cosmetic wear but it is an all around winner. The pickups sound great and handled everything we threw at them. Loved the neck pickup in particular. Kudos. The neck is big, but not as big as the baseball bats you see on some reissue guitars from the big guys. We can happily report that it's also a great player, living up to it's status as the top of the line guitar in the Sears catalog. We really love this one and think you will too.
