Silvertone 1478 Series Offset Bolt-On, Maple Top / Red Sunburst
Originally offered in 1963, the Silvertone 1478 was an instant favorite. The offset double ¯ ¿ ½cutaway body is made of solid Mahogany with a maple top, for a deep rich tone with top end bite. The genuine Bigsby tremolo and adjustable steel bridge mean faultless intonation and better string attack ¢ Å¡ ¬ ¢ ¬… œ an improvement over the rosewood bridge and antiquated tremolo system on the original. We also paid special attention to the neck profile, improving it with a modern C-shape, as well as coupling it to the body with a newly engineered neck joint system for longer sustaining notes. This reissue is the real deal.
