Description

Freshly inspected and set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech. In Good vintage condition with normal wear for an instrument of this age, including light scratches, small dings/chips, a patch of missing finish on the back of the neck, and natural aging of parts and finish. This guitar has a great vintage vibe.

The frets are original and have considerable wear, especially the first five frets. Given the small size of the frets and the amount of wear, we don't believe a level and crown would be sufficient to fully correct the issue. A professional refret would be our recommendation if you're interested in restoring ideal playability. With a vintage guitar like this, it would be well worth the investment in new frets (sorry, we don't do fret replacements in our shop) and the instrument has been priced with this in mind.

The guitar is missing one control knob. Also, what was undoubtedly intended to be a Peace symbol (it was the '60s!) has been painted in red enamel on the pickguard. Probably not removable.

The guitar is all original and includes its original Silver Tolex hard shell case. This is a cool package from the golden era of British Invasion and garage rock. See below for more details and specifications.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
