2018 McKay Dot 58 335 Blonde, Brand New, Original Hard

I asked Ken McKay-the best 335 builder out there-to make a 58 for me and here it is. It is the only one in existence. Like a 58 ES-335, it has a thin top (3 ply instead of four) but has internal reinforcement at the jack to keep it from being damaged by any tension on the plug when in use. Something Gibson should have done. Like an early 58, it has no neck binding. It looks like a 58 and it plays like a 58 and, yes, it sounds like a 58. All parts are high end repro. Pickups are Throbaks. Fingerboard is an old piece of Brazilian from my personal stash (last piece too). Case is a modern TKL. This guitar will blow away any Memphis built 335 without breaking a sweat.
