Description

2008 Steve Earle M-21 #14 in excellent condition. This Martin is all original with no history of repairs. This M-21 was constructed with an Alpine spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard, and an East Indian rosewood bridge. The C shaped neck measures 1 11/16” at the nut, has a depth of 0.89” at the first fret, and a depth 0.94” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 25.4” scale and weighs 3.81 lbs. Original M-21’s are among the rarest of Martin guitars. Steve liked the understated look of the tortoise binding and simple rosette. He chose to incorporate lightweight Waverly tuners, an Alpine Spruce top, and forward shifted scalloped top bracing. The guitar features a label signed by Steve Earle and has a well balanced, open sound with great projection. It comes with the original Martin hardshell case that has some great stickers from past Steve Earle shows.
