Here's a 1948 Martin D-18 in Natural finish. Serial number 103504, makes it a very early '48. Purchased brand new in Pittsburgh PA on February 26, 1949...with a copy of the original receipt to prove it (with a $15 trade in 😉)! This spectacular original example has no breaks or cracks. Upon first strum, you can hear and feel how special it is. It's an absolute cannon, that's perfectly balanced and clear. Not only is this a collectors dream, but it would be an incredible recording guitar. And it rings for days!! The guitar had a prior neck reset, and the work performed was as good as it gets. The neck has a soft V profile, that gets a little more pronounced as you go up. It's super comfortable in your hand. The nut measures 1 11/16." The guitar plays with complete ease, with (in our opinion) perfect action. This beauty was extremely well maintained through the years, and is ready to go. Just a really special piece. And again, the original receipt is included, along with HSC...
