Here's a 1967 Martin D-12-20 in Natural finish. The guitar is crack free, repair free, and neck set free. We purchased this from the original owner, who played and loved it for many years! And yes, he put a little diamond mirror inlay on the headstock! The guitar features a spruce top, mahogany back & sides, style 28 checkered back striped, and black body binding. Introduced in 1964, the Martin D-12-20 utilized the bigger soundboard of a 12-fret dreadnought body. With its bridge positioned closer to the widest part of the lower bout (where it is more flexible), the top moves faster with less effort. That translates into quicker, more accurate response as well as increased sustain. This also lends itself to a warmer, more bass-oriented sound across the board. The saddle is on the lower side, but the guitar has a good neck angle and plays great! Tonally it's seriously magical: full, balanced, with gorgeous top end chime. HSC included!
