Natural with herringbone trim, 12 frets to the body, slotted headstock. VG++. Natural, Sitka Spruce with bookmatched Indian rosewood back and sides. Now aged 20 years. Has a Honduran mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with 1 13/16” nut, modified V neck profile and 2 5/16” string spacing. The V stands for vintage with 5/16” scalloped braces and forward shifted top braces. The wide nut has room for your fingerstyle players to really play. The guitar was sold by us 12 years ago. It has a repaired (cleated) top crack and added Fishman pickup. Also has an added strap button and some dings and scratches as you might expect. The tone is open, punchy and balanced. Other features include a pyramid bridge with a drop in saddle, grained ivoroid binding, bone nut and saddle and nickel Waverly tuners with butterbean knobs. No longer made but in higher demand as Martin has very few S style 12 fret guitars. Comes with the original Geib style hard case.
