Leach 25th Anniversary Ltd Edition Koa Guitar (used, 1997)

Perhaps best known for his Spectacular Inlay work; not surprisingly, Harvey crafts a fine guitar as well - we have this Leach guitar from its original owner.

  • This is one of Harvey's 25th Anniversary guitars.  It is #24 of #25 crafted.
  • Extravagantly figured Koa back & sides
  • Striking Millennium Redwood top
  • This guitar exhibits some of Harvey's exquisite inlay work. It has Mother-of-Pearl white roses as well as some wooden roses.  Also what is described as Red & Green Crown of thorns inlay forms the rosette and climbs up the ebony fretboard.
  • The ebony headstock face plate has both a red & white rose inlay along with the builder's logo
  • Gold Grover tuning machines
  • Laminated neck
  • The ebony fretboard has rosebuds & vines and another large, Mother-of-Pearl rose.
  • The rosette consists of green vines intertwining a red band
  • Ebony bridge with Ebony bridge pins
  • Decorative end graft
  • OHSC
  • Harvey crafted 25, 25th Anniversary guitars in 1997.  This is #24 of 25 guitars built to commemorate his first 25 years as a luthier and inlay artist. As you may know, Harvey is tapped fairly often to undertake major inlay projects by Martin Guitars. One example is the Martin D-45 Harvey Leach Lotus Flower guitar.
