SUPER RARE HAG!

6 lbs. 11 oz.

Sometimes things come in the shop that are just off the charts cool. This is one of them!

A '67 Hagstrom Concorde bass in near immaculate condition is cool enough, but this one is finished in FACTORY BLACK (including headstock!) This wasn't even an option in the 67-68 catolog and you'll only see these in Mahogany sunburst, Golden mahogany sunburst, and cherry red finishes. Double bound with gold hardware. Another amazing thing is these were listed for $435 in '67 which is roughly $3228 in today's money. Super expensive for it's time.

A bargain though in today's vintage market for a 50 year old quality instrument.

It is a great sounding bass, the completely hollow-body giving a nice woody tone.

Short 30.5" scale, this bass had flatwound strings on it's whole life so there is zero fretwear.

The only thing that makes it not 10/10 condition is 3 pea sized finish flakes missing off of back of neck and the pole piece covers missing off of A and D strings on bridge pickup.

We are asking top dollar for this one because it's on of those "find another one" type situations.
