*Ex lot 314: The Guitar Auction, Gardiner Houlgate March 2018. Previously ex lot 95 - Christie's New York 'A Selection of Eric Clapton's Guitars - in aid of The Crossroads Centre' 24th June 1999. The original auction listing states that Clapton used this guitar for writing and recording. Lee Dickson also recalling that the guitar had been owned since the late 1970s. The guitar features a cigarette burn mark to the edge of the head face, a typical feature on many ex Eric Clapton instruments.
