Description

Just in- a very clean first year of production 1934 Gibson Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe housed in the original case. This is example has been expertly converted from Hawaiian style set up to standard. A very well known West Coast dealer described this particular guitar as one of the three best Smecks he had run across in more than three decades and a "Holy Grail" in terms of sound and condition. These very early Smecks (34-35) are extremely sought after, coveted, and revered. Many folks, including us, really love banner era (1942-1945) Gibson flat tops but truly Gibsons from the mid 30s era are our all time favorites. This would be a great addition to any collection, studio arsenal, or living room jam. 9,250 dollars.
