Another early electric guitar, March is early electric guitar month here, maybe April will be as well. This one has some damage repairs and modifications that I am aware of. There is a metal decorative plate near the controls. I remember looking underneath, considering removal of the plate but it did not look good under that plate. There is another metal plate being utilized as a jack/jack repair. There is a hole facing the operator of the guitar. The guitar can be played, I did not notice any bad neck or geometry issues. This Recording King guitar was made by Gibson and sold at Wards. Gibson only put truss rods in the guitars with the Gibson name on them at that time, not on the guitars they built for other outlets.
