1951 Gibson LG-1

The unique sound of these ladder braced LG’s cannot be matched. It is the perfect instrument for vocal accompaniment or easy finger picking. The comfortable size and ample projection make them both comfortable and practical. The vintage mahogany back and sides on this wonderful guitar are perfectly broken in and project as only vintage wood can. The top is beautiful Gibson sunburst spruce (albeit with a nick here or there from 70 years of honest play). Neck is straight and action is very comfortable. Frets are in very good shape. She’s been fully inspected and put into top playing condition. The original bridge was reglued to ensure security. As mentioned, the finish has a tad bit of wear, but nothing that most of these older guitars don’t show. We just consider it authentic mojo. And this gal has it! What you have in this guitar is an early 50’s Gibson in all original condition that plays like a dream. Comes in original case.
