Who is scared of a Head Stock break? Not Moe.

If you switch between slide and traditional playing this is a great Lester for you! The nut is cut higher than on most Gibson Guitars making Open E slide licks at the fist 3 frets effortless to pull off :). The instrument has a repaired head stock snap making it only stronger.

We just ran it thru the shop giving it a clean bill of health and then did a complete setup using feeler gauges and straight edges to insure buzz free playing. The neck is straight and true with a Med C Profile. The truss rod has tons of room and the fret wire is free of wear.

From Premier Guitar: A lot of familiar Les Paul Studio features remain in the newest model. The time-tested combo of a mahogany body with a carved maple top is still used for the body construction, and it shares the new Modern Weight Relief chambering pattern with this year’s Les Paul Standard. But since it’s a Studio model, there’s no binding to be found anywhere on the body or fretboard. The tuners are Klusons, which lends a vintage air, and you’ll find 490R and 498T humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, respectively.
