There are folks out there in the big 'ol guitar-playing world that love the neck feel and tone of a Les Paul Standard T and ladies and gentlemen, we have an outstanding example of exactly that right here. You'll immediately know you're not holding a boy's toy from the first moment you wrap your left hand around this Standard's neck and plug it in. From head to toe, this thing means business.

The Burstbucker Pro Alnico 5's are tight and aggressive, but when you roll the volume knob back, they clean up sweetly. I plugged this thing into a VHT Pitbull and made my turtle jump into the water. Snare drum and rattlesnake tight is a great way to describe the tone. This entire guitar would have made a great candidate to be sent over to Murphy labs, where Tom would have done his magic and you would have had a superbly relic'd Standard. No matter- when you plug this guitar in, you are immediately rewarded by the tone and construction of one of the finest Les Pauls we've had in recent times.

This one's in very clean condition but does have a few dings and belt squiggles on the back. There are also some light surface scratches on the face, but you will have to look for them. There's also a small smudge on the headstock, but it does not offend the senses. There is a tiny bit of oxidation on the pickup covers and I'll be working to see if I can get that off. The rest of the guitar is gorgeous and the neck is straight, with no buzzing or dead notes. The original case is also clean, tidy and includes the case candy. Here are some specs:

AAA flamed maple top
Mahogany body and neck
Asymmetrical slim taper neck shape
22 frets
24.75" scale length
Rosewood compound-radius fretboard
TekToid graphite nut
2- Burstbucker Pro alnico 5 humbuckers
Two volume controls with push-pull coil tapping option
Two push-pull tone controls- phase and pure bypass
Tone Pro tune-o-matic bridge
Grover locking tuners
