1982 Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherryburst, Fair, Hard, $1,499.00

Here’s your chance to snag a killer 1982 Les Paul Standard at a smokin’ hot price. This Les Paul has seen its share of mods over the years, but it’s a great player-grade Les Paul.

It had a Bigsby tailpiece installed and removed (Bigsby not included), and though it has its original tuners now, they were replaced at some point then put back on. Screw holes remain from the Bigsby and tuner removal. The guitar has its original pickups, but a Seymour Duncan Triple Shot system has been installed. This system allows you to coil tap the pickups in series or parallel with the flick of tiny switches embedded in the pickup ring. A nice feature.

Finish has been removed around the serial number on the back of headstock (see pictures). Newer knobs and replaced bridge and saddle. Refretted with medium jumbo frets which are in excellent condition. Some finish touch ups. Lots of chips, scratches, and play wear but no breaks or cracks of any kind.

Although this guitar was played hard, it was not abused. It was just well loved by its previous owner(s) who invested a lot of time and energy customizing it to meet their needs. The guitar sounds and plays fantastic. If you want a great playing Les Paul and don’t mind the visual wear and tear, this guitar is for you.
