Just in on consignment, a "very special" 2006 1960 Les Paul Special, purchased from Yamano Music. This is an unplayed rarely taken out of the case example. Finish master Tom Murphy aged this one to perfection. In particular, the lacquer checking is outstanding, and the subtle aging is authentic and perfect. This guitar is really a work of art, especially if you love the look of a TV finish LP Special like I do. The guitar weight is a light 8.10 pounds, and if you love the sound of a cranked up P-90, this guitar delivers. The Custom shop sends some of their finest examples to Japan and this is definitely one of them. If you look up the definition of "baseball bat neck" in the dictionary, it will show you a picture of this neck. True 50's super beefy "C" profile neck you can really get your hands around. This is part of a very special run of only 25 TV specials aged by Murphy, and it is highly unlikely we will see a run of these again. This comes with the Yamano paper work, signed COA, and all of the case goodies in the original black Custom shop Les Paul case. SN# on this one is 06338.
