2007 Gibson Les Paul R7 Tom Murphy Finish Goldtop, Mint, Hard, $5,450.00
Just in, a collector owned R-7 Goldtop with a perfect Tom Murphy aged finish. It is not easy to age a Les Paul Goldtop accurately, but leave it to Tom Murphy to get it exactly right. This is an unplayed example from 2007. Everything is here, including all the untouched case goodies and documentation including the COA certification signed by Murphy etc. Frets show no playing wear. The guitar weighs 9.40 pounds. The mahogany body is lightly stained like many of the original Les Paul Goldtops. Everything cosmetically on this Goldtop just works, from the perfectly aged nickel hardware to the tastefully aged headstock with lacquer checking. No issues or disappointments with this Les Paul. Yes, it does have a "57" profile very beefy neck, but they are made that way for a reason. If you like the bigger neck, this in one of them. This guitar is on consignment and therefore not eligible for returns.
