Description

Collector grade, no issue wartime L-00. No wear, no cracks, only light checking. Neck has never been reset and action is still very good. Wartime Gibsons often had no truss rods as the metal was allocated to the war effort. In fact, Gibson supposedly wasn't supposed to be making guitars at all during 43 and 44. This has the "only a Gibson is good enough" motto on the headstock which is not common at that time according "Gibson's Fabulous Flat Top Guitars" by Dan Erlewine and others. Case is a Lifton probably from the mid 60's. I've never seen a better wartime L model.
