Here we have a great 1970s Gibson J40. as you will notice the guitar is in pretty rough condition has definitely seen better days but still plays and sounds surprisingly unbelievable. The guitar looks to have had a bunch of crude repairs done to it as lower side cracked. that has been overspray and some strange brown color and numerous back cracks that have been fixed and oversprayed and the same strange brown color. Binding rot all over the Guitar as you also notice that has been made stable in certain spots. Guitar has had a replacement bridge made for it and neck re set. geometry is spot on guitar plays wonderful. The guitar does not obtain its original tuners, but has 80s Grovers that have been installed at some point. there are multiple top crack repairs as you will notice from the photos that I have provided. There are loads of Nicks Chips dings, dents and superficial blemishes all over the instrument as you will also notice from the photos that I have provided. The guitar comes with a aftermarket case please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.
