VERY little use. The condition is like a guitar that's been played a few hours a couple/three times.

It was originally sent to Yamano Music in Japan, and it's well known they were getting the "good stuff" from Gibson for quite a while...maybe still (?)

For some reason, Gibson used to name this model a '60 Reissue which for it's specs is a misnomer. I see now the newer owners of Gibson are fixing that sort of mistake.

The realistic color (so many are too yellow) and it's BIG neck (0.95" thick at first fret, 1.05 at 12th) make it so much like the Specials we'd get our hands on back in the '70's when a real one from the mid-'50's was about 16 years old!

There's patina on the tailpiece/bridge, but no dings/scrapes, wear to speak of etc. There's a tiny spec near neck joint (see photo, it's the natural wood, not a flaw - ya can't feel it). Has all the paper, COA. tags, Yamano warr papers etc, and original Custon Shop case.

I had this first in about 2010, sold it to a good customer. He had a Push/Pull pot for in/out of phase (and old caps - original bumblebee replicas are in the case). . .....It's a cool optional sound! ALL else as new.

LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. THIS IS A GREAT Custom Shop rissue from Gibson when they were still "dialed in". If you want a good sounding, accurate looking version of a mid '50's Special with a fat neck....... now's your chance.
