There are more classic guitars than just Strats and Les Pauls, and Replay Guitar Exchange is proud to present a great variety of them. The Gibson Firebird is one such classic, making its first appearance in 1963. Of course then it was one of the most radical instruments the world had ever experienced, and it’s still a guaranteed head-turner today. Its classic reverse-body styling was truly unique, and the powerful yet bright mini-humbucker and through-neck construction contributed to a sound that’s both cutting and sustaining. It is still made in the labor-intensive “through-neck” style, with its mahogany and nine-ply walnut neck and body section and mahogany wings. This particular pre-owned instrument is a 2007 Firebird V in the classic sunburst finish. The frets have about 15% wear so there’s plenty of life left on the board.
