1968 Gibson ES-335 Sunburst, Very Good, Original Hard, $4,000.00

Every so often, I get a completely unmolested, no issue guitar that simply has too much playing time to recalled a collector grade example. This 68 has simply been played and played and played some more. Everything is original and intact down to the saddles and frets. What it is is worn but it still plays well. It will need frets eventually-they aren't gone but they are pretty flat. Here's some good news-the pickups aren't t-tops-they are about the last of the pre T's which is unusual but not unheard of in 1968. Lucky you. Covers have been off both pickups but that way you know what's under there. No rewinds and no "T". I left them unsoldered so you can see for yourself. Neck has some heft to it but does have the 1 9/16" nut that keeps these guitars out of the stratosphere. It's a good player and despite the wear shows pretty well. Original case.
