Description

Best deal in vintage 335's? Big neck 65's. Contrary to what everyone seems to believe, 65's don't have T-tops and may even have early patent numbers (same as PAF). Most have the later pre T-tops but those are excellent pickups too. The big neck is identical to the very desirable 64 neck. So why so much less than a 64? Trapeze tailpiece is why. So, you can leave it alone-there is nothing wrong with a trapeze. You might lose a marginal amount of sustain and you might not. You could also convert it to stop tail. Yes, you'll have your tech drill two holes in the top but you really won't hurt the value because it's an upgrade that most everyone wants (and no one wants to be the one to do it). This one shows some wear and is re-fretted but is all original. The inlay at the 15th fret is missing-I have the inlay but it is damaged. All hardware is nickel except for the pickup covers. Case is vintage black with orange-replaced handle.
