1965 Gibson ES-335 "Cherry"

The ultimate ES-335 for any player! A 1965 model, this guitar still features the wide, 1 11/16" nut width most players prefer on ES models, with a large, '64 style neck profile. The original owner converted the trapeze tailpiece into a stop tail and at one point installed a Bigsby tailpiece and Roland synth pickup, leaving a few small screw holes in the top. The neck appears to have been oversprayed but there are no signs of any breaks or repairs. This guitar still maintains the early 60's 335 features like a pair of Patent Sticker humbuckers, nylon saddle ABR-1 bridge, and original Kluson "Double Ring" tuners, a mixture of chrome and nickel hardware appropriate for a transitional model, as well as an original Gibson "Pebble Case" with a goldenrod interior.
