The two most sought after 335's are the 59 dot neck and the red 64. I know this because I've owned and sold over 600 of them in the last 20 years. I also know that 90-95% of 335's sold (and probably everything else) have an undisclosed issue. It's not that folks are dishonest, they simply don't see enough 335's to know what to look for. Buy this one and you get exactly what you think you're getting. A factory Bigsby red 64 in 9/10 condition. I could probably call it near mint but I'll be conservative here. I can find a couple of minor issues and you should know about them. One of the patent number pickups is missing its sticker. Not unusual. The other issue is that the pickup covers have been off and have been re-soldered (by me). Not always a bad thing because I know they are purple wound double black lead early patents and not some later pickup (like a T-Top) done up to look like an early patent. Neck starts fairly slim but gets real big by the 12th fret (.99")...typical 64. Case is original black with yellow and if your name is James it comes personalized at no extra charge. If your name is something else, you could change it or take off the name plate. Comes with the original strap (ask the Les Paul guys what these are worth), Bigsby, bridge and pickup instructions and the original hang tag.
