HOLDThese are really hard to come by. This is only the third blonde two pickup 330 I've owned. You see 1960 blondes much more often and with good reason-they made over 200 in 1960 but they only made 79 of them in 1959. Who knows how many survived-this is relevant because these weren't nearly as expensive as 335's, 345's and 355's which tend to be well cared for. A 330 was near the bottom of the Gibson line and they often came in the cheap cardboard cases which didn't offer much protection. So, finding any blonde 59 is noteworthy but finding one in this condition is extraordinary. The only issue is that it had different at some time but the Klusons are back on and the extra holes are under the Klusons. The shaft holes were never enlarged but there is the telltale ring around each tuner on the face of the headstock. This one has the brown hard case that is original. More photos when I have it in hand. Neck is large at .89" at the first fret and .98" at the 12th. So, not the really huge Louisville Slugger neck but awfully close (that one is .90" and 1.05"). Nicely balanced hot P90's at 8.1K and 8K. This has two bridge adjustment rings on the bridge which stabilizes the bridge but it wasn't factory on the early ones. Most folks added it as it works real well. Super clean original Gibson badged brown 5 latch hard case.
