Description

Oh yeah! Drop dead gorgeous 1965 Gibson ES-330 in vintage Iced Tea sunburst finish. This one has the larger and more desirable 1 11/16 inch nut width, too. Tuners have been replaced with five Grover Deluxe tuners and one matching but unbranded tuner. Replaced bridge plus one replaced bridge post. Added bridge pickup riser.

Modifications aside, this guitar is in excellent vintage condition. Double bound light-weight body with some very discrete checking and a marvelous Iced Tea sunburst finish. Back and sides are rich and dark with minimal wear and no visible scratches or buckle wear.

Very clean headstock with one ding on the top edge. The rosewood fingerboard is in excellent condition with beautiful pearloid block inlay. Vintage frets with a bit of denting but still playing fine.

What makes these guitars so special, though, are the rocking P-90 pickups. There’s nothing quite like them and the ones from the 60s are among the best sounding pickups ever made. To make the balance between the pickups even better a pickup riser has been installed underneath the bridge pickup bringing it closer to the strings.

A fully hollow, hence light weight, Gibson ES-330 with killer pickups, wide nut, and fast playing neck profile. Set up and ready to go.
