1955 Gibson ES-175 Sunburst
Sunburst, first it’s kind of a great guitar. Has a big neck, great thump to each note, and great acoustic volume. Now, we bet you’ll recognize this…the guitar had a second pickup added (we can’t fool you). The tone control is now a blend control that blends the two pickups. Why would someone do this? Ah..ummm, well there’s always a story with 66 year old guitars and in 1976 it was just a used guitar. No breaks, no original parts. The pickups are early Duncan Vintage P-90’s. Has replaced bridge, tuners and tailpiece. However a great playing and sounding guitar loaded with flat wounds. Comes with a newer hard case.
