1954 Gibson ES-175 Natural

One Owner. First time on the market.
Recently acquired from the original owners family. He literally kept the guitar under lock & key (see photos).
Extremely clean example.
All original with the exception of a later Gibson archtop (chrome plated) trapeze tailpiece. Educated guess would be the original cracked at the hinge, as they did sometimes.
No extra strap button hole, no cracks, mods or repairs. No binding issues.
A few minor light dings & light checking. No arm wear, no picking wear. Clean !!!
Frets are excellent showing some wear in the first 2.
Plays & sounds fantastic.
Neck is straight & truss rod functions as it should.
Action is low & plays well up & down the neck.
Original electronics with the P-90 measuring 8.08k.
Nut width is 1.65 and depth is .89 at the 1st fret.
This one has a white Gibson s/n , model label & a FON , both dating 1954.
Comes with the original Lifton brown/pink case with added hasp. All latches present & functioning as well as the original handle.
Also included, rope guitar strap, capo , lock & key and his old set list !
This is a fantastic / clean guitar for a player or collector.
