1983 Gibson Custom Shop Original Super V BJB
The Super V is a stunning combination of two of Gibson’s finest guitars; the Super 400 and the L-5! This '83 example comes fitted with an original BJB pickup for an honest and transparent sound that is sure to please any jazz purist. The aesthetic of this gorgeous guitar is undeniable and timeless with a 17″ body featuring a solid carved Spruce top, solid carved flamed Maple back and sides, an Ebony fingerboard, and ornate cosmetic appointments throughout with pinstripe binding and mother-of-pearl inlays. Original excluding a nut shim and a removed tone pot/plugged pickguard hole, otherwise this guitar is super clean with moderate playwear and hardly a scratch on it. Plays like butter and sounds amazing with a huge, rich, warm, and woody tone that makes this hollowbody stand true as a first-class "Jazz Box!" Includes original hardshell case.

We offer a 72 hr approval on all guitar & amps (unless otherwise noted). Customer pays all shipping & insurance costs both ways unless otherwise negotiated by sales staff. Before returning any item, customers must call for a return authorization. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused & returned at customer expense. Returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
