2022 Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab '59 ES-335 Ultra Heavy Aged Blonde
This 2022 Custom Shop ES 335 is in excellent condition and comes with it's original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity! 150 made.
It was hand-made by expert luthiers of the Gibson custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee and has been set up beautifully! There's very little fretware or wear from use. Murphy Lab uses lacquer redeveloped from the original 1950's formula for a truly vintage look; paired with heavily aged finish treatment and hardware as well as the authentic ’59 Medium “C” neck profile, it simulates the unique character and feel of an original example from the Gibson Golden Era.
The Alnico III Custom Buckers are a perfect fit and allow for a classic tone: from warm jazz to chimey country to dirty blues. Being handwired with CTS audio taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors, the versatility in tone-shaping is truly remarkable!
