Gibson Custom Shop 2022 Murphy LAB Japan LTD 1957 Les Paul Heavy Aged
This is a limited edition "1957 Les Paul Heavy Aged" Japan limited model with a faded cherry color on the body back.
The guitar has been aged by the Murphy Lab, a new team specializing in aging led by Tom Murphy, a member of the Gibson Custom Shop since its inception and a leading expert on aging. The neck is a 1957 reissue of the original 1957 Reissue.
The neck is a slightly thinner "Chunky C" shape than the 1957 reissue model, and the pickups are original Custombucker (un-potted).
There is almost no damage, the frets are not worn, and there are no problems with the condition of the neck or the operation of the truss rod.
