Gibson Custom Shop 2013 Japan Limited Run 1967 Flying V Stop Tail Piece VOS

The "1967 Flying V VOS" model was produced as a Japan Limited edition in an antique candy apple red with a slight orange tinge.

The one-piece mahogany body and 17-fret joint are reproduced to 1967 specifications.

It features tubeless truss rod and hide glued (joints) according to 2013 specs, and the pickups are custombuckers.

There is a trace of a short vibro roller that was installed, the screw holes have been filled with resin and there are cracks in the paint around the screw holes.

The pickups were originally covered but have now been removed and pickup rings are fitted, with additional screw holes.

The toggle switch knob has been replaced from white to black and the wiring material inside the cavity has been changed.

The metal parts are dull, there is a fine scuff on the top of the body, the back has a shallow back scuff and many small dents near the tip of the bass side, small pockmarks near the back of the first fret on the neck grip, and the paint is damaged with flaking around the end pins.

The frets are slightly dented, but there is more than 80% remaining overall, and the neck and truss rod work fine.
