Gibson Custom Shop 2017 Collector’s Choice CC#31 “Mike Reeder” 1959 Les Paul Aged
This "Mike Reeder 1959 Les Paul" model was produced in a limited run of 300 reproductions, owned by Mike Reeder, owner of Mike's Music Guitar Shop in Ohio.
The limited run coincided with the end of the Collector's Choice series, so it was released as a limited run, but it was planned and produced as #31, and the certificate also refers to it as a Collector's Choice, so it is said to be the last Les Paul from the Collector's Choice series. It is a model.
It has a Reeder Burst finish, similar to a slightly reddish Lemon Burst, with a body back and back of the neck that retains the reddish hue without fading, a neck grip with a relatively clean shape on the sides, and the characteristic scratches on the body top.
The basic specs are based on the True Historic, with Custombucker pickups.
The reddish hue of the body back/side/back of the neck has faded.
The frets are not worn and there are no problems with the neck or truss rod.
