Gibson Custom Shop 2022 Historic Collection Japan Limited Run 1957 Les Paul Standard All Ebony VOS
This is a special edition "1957 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS All Ebony" model produced in limited numbers in Japan.
The body back and neck are all finished in Ebony Black, and the '59 neck profile and frets have been adopted for a spec not normally found on the 1957 model.
The hide gluing and parts have been carried over from True Historic, with vintage taper pots and bumblebee oil capacitors.
The pickups are equipped with two un-potted Custombucker.
There are a few pockmarks on the body top and back, one shallow dent near the switch back plate, one tiny dent on the edge beside the back panel, a tiny dent on the tip of the head and some scuffs throughout.
There is almost no fret wear, and there are no problems with the neck and truss rod.
