1994 Gibson Centennial Les Paul Special Prototype Promo Model Gold
Ultra Rare 1994 Gibson Centennial Les Paul Special Prototype Promotional Model in Gold with Original Gold Parts, Centennial Case, Strap & Warranty. Very few were made and none shipped to dealers. According to George Gruhn these guitars were used for Promotions with one Yellow shipped to a CompuServe Promo, a few Gold sent to Aerosmith Promo and one Gold sent to a Six Flags Promo. I believe this is the Six Flags Promo. See photos of Prototype info from George Gruhns Book. According to Gibson Records this guitar was shipped March 31st 1994. This Prototype DID NOT come with the Diamond serial numbered Tailpiece or the Diamond Control knobs. The Gold parts are Original and No medallion was ever installed on the back of the guitars headstock as shown in photos. Aside from one tiny nick on the upper top side the guitar is Mint!! Buyer has 24 hour approval on the instrument from the time he/she receives it (This does not include Amplifier, International Sales or instruments purchased directly from Gothic City Guitars premises). No returns on International Sales. Buyer may return an instrument for any reason immediately following the 24 hour approval period and must contact GCG immediately for Return Authorization. Instruments must be returned no later than 7 business days after the 24 hour approval period and from the time Return Authorization is issued. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and Insurance Costs. Full refund will be given after Instrument is returned and inspected. Refund will be returned in the same method that the buyer paid for the instrument. In addition to all Shipping costs, there is a 20% restocking fee for any shipments that buyer refused or is returned undeliverable by UPS/Fed Ex or any other Carrier used.
