1968 Gibson Barney Kessel Black

Here's a 1968 Gibson Barney Kessel in factory Black finish. Ultra rare bird!! All parts on the guitar are original. At some point other tuners were on, which left small extra holes that have been filled, but the originals are back on. No cracks or breaks. Not only an incredible collectors piece, but an equally incredible playing and sounding example! Solid mahogany neck, solid Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, arched spruce top, arched tiger flame maple back and sides, dual-parallelogram mother of pearl fingerboard inlay and thistle peghead inlay, triple bound top, bound back, Barney Kessel engraved nameplate tailpiece, with two fantastic sounding original Gibson Pat Number Humbuckers. Both pickups are strong, balanced, and super articulate. Sounds amazing. Playability is exceptional!! Fast, low playing action down the entire length of the neck. The frets are in good shape as well. Sounds great acoustic too! It's going to be long time before we see one of these again. OHSC!
