Anyone interested in a Max ‘67 Flying V replica? This is one of three I know of in existence, including an unpainted husk with no parts. It’s finished in see-through Cherry, weighs a featherweight 6lbs 11oz, it’s loaded up with all 60’s parts (with the exception of the guard and case), and it plays and sounds great. It was built decades ago, so it shows a fair amount of natural and artificial aging such as nicks, dings, finish checking, belt rash, and it lights up under a black light just like an original. He used a real Batch #1 ‘67 Flying V as his inspiration, and all specs were copied from that. It was built from his stash of old growth Honduras Mahogany that wasn’t thick enough for a Les Paul, but perfect for a 60’s V or SG (an unpainted ‘60-‘61 style SG Standard husk is also available for all the DIY’ers) As most of you know, Max passed away in March, he left behind a body of work that’s languishing in a storage locker, his sister has asked me for assistance in identifying, appraising, and selling a mountain of gear that was meant for players and collectors like yourselves. The sale of Max guitars is not my thing normally, but given my 30-year friendship with the man, it would be proper and befitting for me to help his family get his stuff into the hands of people who can appreciate it. The asking price is $27,500 complete with a COA signed by Max, and a modern hard shell case.
Cash, certified/bank check, or wire transfer pre-paid. A 25% minimum deposit is required for "Lay-Away" purchases and shall not exceed thirty days. If item is not paid in full after thirty days, the deposit will be returned less 15% of the selling price for re-stocking.

24 hour money back approval on mail order purchases less a 15% "re-stocking/rental" fee. This is to deter all the "Wankers" who feel they can buy a guitar through the mail, use it on a gig or in the studio, then return it when they're done! No returns on "Lay-Away" purchases.
