1964 Fender Vibroverb Black

Here we have a pretty much perfect example of the coveted and rare Fender Vibroverb.
It is really tough to find a Vibroverb in this shape, with all the original transformers and speaker in place. Transformers, pots, and the speaker were all manufactured in 1963. The serial number and tube chart stamp date the amp to 1964.
The amp has seen some beneficial service. A grounded power cable was installed. The filter caps were swapped. The same goes for the elctrolytics in the circuit. The bias cap was changed out as well. These changes all lend to the longevity of the amp and represent a relatively significant investment that you won't have to worry about for a couple decades or more.
As I post this, I can say that this is the nicest Vibroverb currently available on Reverb that isn't marked "local pickup". We will ship it, but it will come in two boxes - one for the chassis and one for the cabinet. This is the only way to safely ship an amp with girthy transformers. Assembly is simple, and we can help over the phone if needed. Don't make the purchase if installing the chassis into the cabinet is something that intimidates you.
