Description

This fully original 1972 Fender Thinline Telecaster in Natural Mahogany greatly reflects the times for both Fender and popular tastes of the early 70s. 1972 would be the first year for the “Series II” Thinline Telecasters, now featuring two “Wide Range” humbuckers for a bit more punch and clarity, as well as a “bullet” truss rod and a three bolt micro-tilt neck plate. Like many Thinlines, this example sports a full but nicely rounded neck shape that fills the palm well. The finish itself is in excellent condition, with just some light edgewear.

Overall Condition: 9, edgewear, light playwear, and swirl marks
