Description

There’s something about Telecaster Thinlines that we really love, especially after Fender started equipping them with wide-range humbuckers in 1972. Everybody knows that 70s Fenders tended to be on the heavy side compared with earlier models. So introducing a semi-hollow version of the Telecaster made a lot of sense. Not to mention, the new pickguard shape was way cool and the added F-hole really completed the look.

Here we have an all-original 1974 Fender Telecaster Thinline in a particularly attractive three-tone sunburst. It’s a nice clean guitar with normal play wear and a few small scratches and dings, only a few of which are noticeable. There’s a small lacquer chip on the back of the neck near the third fret and one through-the-finish scuff on the bottom edge of the guitar. There is also a small top crack at the lower left corner of the pickguard. But overall this Tele Thinline presents very well as a 40+ year old vintage guitar.

Check out the pictures and I’m sure you’ll agree this is a great looking guitar. Looking good, playing great, and sounding just like a Thinline should. This is one of the nicest Thinlines we’ve had in the shop.
