This 1973 Fender Telecaster Thinline is a fantastic example of why these semi-hollow body Teles are so sought after. Made in the USA, it remains completely original, from the finish to the hardware, and looks nearly brand new; like a true closet find, with a remarkably well-preserved finish.
Weighing just 6lbs 10oz, it’s lightweight, resonant, and a joy to play. It features Fender’s original “vintage-tall” jumbo fret wire, one of the early models to showcase this spec, offering a smooth and expressive feel. I have just been polished and have a full life ahead of them.
The Seth Lover-designed Wide Range humbuckers, paired with the original 1 Meg pots, deliver exceptional clarity with a bold, dynamic presence that cuts through a mix beautifully. There’s a small shim between the neck and body on the bass side, while we don’t find it necessary, it’s been left intact.
Professionally set up in our shop, this 52 year old Thinline is playing phenomenally and comes with its original case.

Returns on New items are accepted (unless noted in the description), and must occur within 4 days from when you receive the item. (buyer must notify us that they will be returning the item within 4 days of receiving the item, or return will be void) Buyer pays for shipping cost , Buyer is responsible for returning the item undamaged, we can provide return label which cost will be deducted from the refund owned to the buyer. A 10% restocking fee will also be assessed upon return of the item. We reserve the right to refuse refund if item is not returned in the same condition it was originally shipped to the buyer.
