Offered for sale;

Used 1984 Fender Stratocaster ’57 Reissue serial number V009824.

This guitar is in very good condition. The neck and frets are fine. We sold this new to the original owner back in ‘84. As you can see from the overall very good condition and fretboard wear, he loved it and played it.

Beginning in the early '80s, Fender began reissuing classic model years and eras of its guitars. The '57 reissue was one of the earliest Stratocaster reissues to be released.

From the 1982 catalog:

“’57 STRATOCASTER
This stunning, classic recreation recalls a year when rock & roll was still being born, and rock guitarists were discovering the exciting sound of Fender’s latest triumph. Here was the first guitar with three pickups and a tremolo of superior design as standard equipment.

Identifying features of the ’57 Stratocaster included old-style 3-color Sunburst finish, a single layer white pick guard, and the yellowed lacquer Maple neck”

This early Fender American Vintage Reissue Stratocaster is original. New, these reissues came with a 3-way pickup selector installed and a 5-way switch in the case. Now the original 5-way pickup selector is installed and the 3-way is in the case.

Neck date of 8-22-84, and date correct pot codes all indicators of originality.

This is a great playing and beautiful sounding guitar ready for more!

Original hard-shell tweed case included.

Imagine, a vintage Vintage Reissue. When this 34 year old guitar was born the oldest original you could possible get would be only a mere 30 years old.

“We carefully inspect every instrument when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. We also do a full set up before we ship. If you decide to purchase this guitar, please let us know what gauge strings you prefer.”

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.

This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.

*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.

If you prefer your item to be sent without a required signature Imperial Guitar and the selected carrier can no longer be responsible for the security of the package once it has been delivered.
