major improvements went into these guitars Fender offered, this 2011 model has the new N3 noiseless alnico magnet pickups, the new S1 switching system , can not tell from the pictures but she sports a mint green vintage pickguard and backplate as well. The compound radius fingerboard profile 9.5 to 12 radius, Vintage style see through finish with frigging beautiful grain , pearl fret dot markers, inlay headstock logo,super heavy duty flight case and the soft V neck profile. Really what most would come to expect in a custom shop version Fender put out in a regular production Stratocaster. There have been several configurations and evolutions of the Deluxe Series but in my own opinion this was the best of the best in this series . Comes with the original Fender flight style hardshell case.
