1974 Fender Stratocaster Natural

Summary:  This is one of the finest examples of the notorious
3 bolt neck Stratocasters we’ve seen here at our shop. The original natural finish shows the
beautiful wood grain and has just ever so slight finish checking adding to its illustrious
glory! The maple neck is gorgeous, flame
maple and birds-eye, co-existing on one playing surface. Overall this guitar is in fantastic shape,
tons of life left in the frets, and it ships in its original hard shell case,
fully insured.

Body:  Beautiful ash body with a nice natural finish and topped with a 3 ply w/b/w
pickguard.

Neck:  The one piece maple neck has a skunk stripe, large fender headstock, 3
bolt neck joint with micro neck angle adjustment, bullet truss rod, eye
catching flame maple and birds-eye and original F stamped tuning keys.  Scale length is 25.5” and the nut width is 1.64”.

Pickups/Hardware:
 3 Original single
coil pickups, 1 volume, 2 tone, nickel hardware, vibrato unit, 3 ply w/b/w
pickguard, “F” stamped tuning keys and single ply white back plate.

Cosmetics:  This Strat is in beautiful shape with just a
bit of buckle rash on the back, finish checking, some minor dings and nicks one
would expect to see on a vintage instrument like this and some pick scratches
on the pickguard. The neck has some wear
through the finish on the fretboard edge, a spot where the finish has been
played through around the 10th fret and a small finish crack on the
back of the headstock. We have inspected
this crack thoroughly and have determined it to be only finish level and does
not hinder its structural integrity.  The
frets themselves have a bit of wear but they are still plenty playable the way
they are and surely have life left in them for the years to come.

Playability:  Our in house luthier has just
inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is
playing beautifully with nice low action and a straight neck.
